Joseph, Dave C.: - Dave is currently serving as the Care and Counseling Pastor at Grace Community Church in Fulton, Maryland. His greatest passion in life is his relationship with God through Christ Jesus. Followed closely by his love for his wife, Talisa, and son, David. These two fires spurred Dr. Joseph to write both Pictures of Proverbs published in 2016, and in 2020 the Made New twelve book devotionals series for new believers and disciple-makers.Pictures of Proverbs were written to give every parent the ability to disciple their child in the way of God, the way of wisdom. Made New was written to journey with new believers through the Bible, with Christ, and with others. Each book includes 30 moments to encourage followers of Jesus to know who they are in Him. Made New for disciple-makers journeys with courageous believers as they share life with new believers.Daves zeal for Christ began at a young age because of his mothers fervor for Jesus. Since deciding to yield his life to Jesus, Dave has learned that applying Gods Words in his life is a large part of obedience, the task God has placed before him. His obedience out of love has resulted in an interesting life of completing Christs mission for His followers. Learning for the purpose of helping others is Daves third devotion in life. His love for learning and his desire to lead others to this passion is part of the reason he does the work that he does in his writing, Shepherding, and role as Dean.Dr. Josephs love for God is genuine, and it pushes him to do Big things for his Big God.Before Grace Community Church, Dave planted Living Stones Church; Dave worked as the Minister of Family Life at The Peoples Community Baptist Church in Silver Spring, MD. Before this, Dave worked as a missionary in Northern Canada, Saskatchewan, for three years. Before that, he was a commercial banker for a couple of years after completing his undergraduate degree.Dave started his college career at the U. S. Naval Academy and transferred to the University of Maryland, where he received his bachelors degree. He later attended the Capital Bible Seminary, where he received his Masters in Counseling. He went to Liberty Theological Seminary and completed his Masters in Divinity and his Doctorate.
