nBrittany Feria is a senior program manager at Amazon and now a childrens book author! She got her bachelors in accounting from Michigan Technological University and her MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and currently lives in Wisconsin with her husband, their two small children, and their dog, Loki. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, building sandcastles at the beach, and reading. She was inspired to write Sammy Goes to the Doctor to show her son what to expect at the doctor. Sammy is based on her labradoodle who was her sons best friend prior to passing away from cancer. n
