nClete A. Kushida, MD, PhD, is a sleep specialist, neurologist, professor, chief, and medical director at Stanford Sleep Medicine. He served as the inaugural president of the World Sleep Society, past president of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and founding president of the California Sleep Society.
