\n \nAs I sit and begin to write these lines\n \nI'm reminded of a much earlier time\n \nI must have been 8 when I first began\n \nTo create prose with a pen in my hand\n \nAlthough most times it was done for fun\n \nWho'd have guessed one day a writer I'd become\n \nSo I've laid myself bare, all the triumphs and trials\n \nThe trauma, the hurt, the frowns, and the smiles\n \nLet these words be a beacon and offer insight\n \nWhen you're alone in the darkness and looking for light\n \nI'm certainly grateful that you took the time\n \nTo share my experiences I've put into rhyme\n \n \n\n \nThe Crystal Rose is a captivating collection of poetry and art. Beautifully illustrated, the accompanying artwork helps bring to life the riveting prose. Moving and inspirational, these pages are a journey through love, heartbreak, friendship, betrayal, and a celebration of life.\n
