From the Eyes of a Sister - Bebbie Hickman

Descriere From the Eyes of a Sister - Bebbie Hickman

\n \n Not knowing why, Bebbie Hickman has always kept many seemingly unimportant bits and pieces of information about her childhood years. Approaching her sixties, Bebbie's yearning to know more about those bygone days prompted her to drive from Virginia to Maryland and New Jersey for impromptu interviews with her elderly uncle and second mom, never realizing From the Eyes of a Sister was in the making! Bebbie had never thought of writing a book. She never had the knack for speaking well in public, although she could write her feelings on paper and describe them perfectly and to the point. With a longing to acknowledge God's presence throughout her life, From the Eyes of a Sister is a candid look at a large family that lived, loved, and enjoyed life despite their poverty. Bebbie's faith in God and love for her siblings brought her untold joy and a satisfied heart. Employment at NASA, the USPS, and other positions could not compare to Bebbie's calling as big sister to five brothers and a sister. From the Eyes of a Sister is a book that allows you take a personal peek into the memories of a South Jersey kid in the '50s and '60s era. You're welcome to open the door and come in.\n \n \n\n \n \n\n
