The Deep Hot Biosphere: The Myth of Fossil Fuels - Thomas Gold

Descriere The Deep Hot Biosphere: The Myth of Fossil Fuels - Thomas Gold

This book presents the idea that hydrocarbons are not a byproduct of biological debris (fossil fuels), but are materials that the Earth formed from billions of years ago. The author also theorizes that there may be an enormous store of hydrocarbons deep within the Earth that can provide abundant supplies of gasoline and petroleum. \nNo other book comes even close to proposing that there is a huge mass of life living within the earth, that it is sustained in its sunless and airless subterranean environment by hydrocarbons, and that those hydrocarbons--natural gas and petroleum--are not fossil fuels but a primordial basic component of our planet and the universe.
