She soon realized that her expertly decorated cookies were a hit and, with her husband, decided to make cookie baking and decorating a full-time endeavor. \n \n The business, Emma's Sweets (named after her daughter) includes an online retail site selling an exclusive line of cookie cutters, other cookie-making supplies, and her own recipes. Mary won an episode of the Food Network's Christmas Cookie Challenge, and she teaches in-person and online workshops.
