SAP S/4 HANA Finance Best Practices - Robert Lee

Descriere SAP S/4 HANA Finance Best Practices - Robert Lee

\nThere are many SAP Finance books on the market, but very few combine both a business & financial acumen and strong technical advice. A significant majority of the books in the market are either step-by-step SPRO configuration instructions or are at a very high level discussing the general functionalities of each new S/4 HANA release. The authors in this case are set to strike a balance and provide practical advice with real life examples. To further distinguish this book from others, each chapter will first try to cover the major financial or business aspects, and then finish off with technical highlights and commentary. The goals of this book are: -Provide a brief introduction to the functional capabilities of SAP S/4 HANA Finance.-Provide the readers with a set of brainstorming questions so that the reader can better plan their S/4 HANA implementations.-Avoid common implementation errors encountered in the past.-Provide commentary or guidelines as to when it is best to customize vs. rely on SAP standard functionality.-Provide background into the different feedback mechanisms of an in-house IT department vs. external SAP consultants.-Provide technical suggestions, particularly in terms of performance optimization, for SAP finance implementations.
