In these sermons which span the first Sunday of Advent to the Feast of St. Paul (Jan. 25) Bernard explores the biblical texts relating to the birth of Christ and the miraculous events which accompanied it.Known as The Mellifious Teacher, for the sweetness of his sermons, Bernard irresistibly draws in his audience to ponder the mysteries of the Messiah's first advent, not to explain the answer every question about the cosmic mystery of Jesus's birth.re: SOURCE Publishing creates modern digital books from classic works at bargain pricing.
