Encore Ocean Grove: More from The Other Side of Ocean Grove - Ted David

Descriere Encore Ocean Grove: More from The Other Side of Ocean Grove - Ted David

\nEncore Ocean Grove is about the real places and people who live in this curious hamlet of just 3200 at the Jersey shore. This is not an historical novel or a mystery set in this town but rather 15 short stories that will bring New Jersey's most interesting town to life for the visitor, resident or even descendent of the original founders. They are amusing, some bittersweet, but all are entertaining.Encore takes off where The Other Side of Ocean Grove, originally published in 2001, left off with chapters like: Neighbors, the Fishing Pier, Tenting, the Gardens, the Dolphin Story and 10 more. You may want to read Neighbors while you wait for the elusive beach parking spot. The romantic The Visitor could be about anyone who spends a magical night, summer or a lifetime in Ocean Grove. Mary's Place will bring tears of sadness and joy. There is a Brief History of the Grove should you not know its odd founding in 1869. If you are lucky enough to live here you'll recognize and relate to all the stories. If you can't live or visit here... It's the next best thing.
