Mysticism & Whales: A Pilgrimage - Diane Knoll

Descriere Mysticism & Whales: A Pilgrimage - Diane Knoll

\n \nBefore she traveled to Argentina at the invitation of an indigenous elder, Diane Knoll was unaware of the mystical embrace with creation awaiting her. \n \nExperiencing a sacred adventure free from today's culture of materialism, smartphones and social media, Knoll gained insights from one of the planets most intelligent creatures. \n \nWhen a Native American shaman told her to come to the whales, Diane Knoll let her heart guide her, and she traveled to the Patagonian coast of Argentina. What the whales there taught her changed her life forever. Now Knoll shares with you how whales have long been associated with spirituality and mysticism and what they taught her about her identity. Through her vivid recollections and interviews with a sea captain, nature preserve ranger, businessman, medical student, photographer, and Patagonian guide, Knoll captures the gentle majesty of the southern right whales. \n \nKnoll also turns her attention to the future and conservation issues, demonstrating to readers how important whales are to the earth's many interconnected systems. Knoll hopes that you are encouraged by her journey and that you too are inspired to protect, defend, and cherish these incredible creatures and all of nature. \n
