Tybee Island Heroes and Hooligans; The Making of an Island Paradise, Vol. 1 - J. R. Roseberry

Descriere Tybee Island Heroes and Hooligans; The Making of an Island Paradise, Vol. 1 - J. R. Roseberry

\n \nReminiscent of Rick's Bar in Casablanca, J. R. Roseberry's stories of notable characters who frequented the bars and streets of Tybee Island, \n \nGeorgia, give his readers a look inside the protective cocoon the small community provided its eccentric, eclectic, and entertaining locals. \n \n \n\n \nThe artists, politicians, scallywags, preachers, barroom brawlers, and city sophisticates all found a niche at Tybee Island and appreciated each \n \nother's differences. J. R. pulled off the feat of writing about them and keeping their friendship. He became one of the 'notables' as he filled his weekly newspaper column with reports of who had done what on Tybee.\n \n \n\n \nThank goodness, like Sam at Rick's, he can now play it again in his book of Tybee tales.\n \n \n\n
