Descriere The Christian System: The Principles of Christianity - God, the Bible, the Universe, the Life of Jesus Christ and the Role of the Church and - Alexander Campbell

\n \nAlexander Campbell explains the tenets and principles of the Christian faith, drawing upon decades of experience as a minister, author and leader of the Restoration Movement.\n \nAs one of the first Christians in North America to undertake mass distribution of the written word, Campbell understood how spreading knowledge and insight cemented God's cause. This work serves as a summation of Christianity, explaining the significance of the Holy Bible, God as Creator and spiritual knower of all, and the life of his Son on Earth, Jesus Christ. Designed as an informative guide steeped in scriptural wisdom, The Christian System is both a wellspring of religious knowledge and a historic landmark of American Christian authorship.\n \nThis edition also includes several lectures and pamphlets delivered by Alexander Campbell over the course of his life. Their topics range from the treatment and forgiveness of sin, to the holy sacraments taken in church, to the spiritual regeneration and rebirth of a man repentant and reformed in God's image. Fittingly, the book concludes with a rallying call to Christian faithful, to the sons and daughters of the Lord, mindful and strident in emulating the Kingdom of God.\n \nA celebrated figure in the Revivalist movement of the mid-19th century, many modern churches in the USA trace their origins to the efforts of Alexander Campbell and his fellow leaders.\n
