Descriere The Types of Genesis: A Bible Study of God's Creation of the World, Adam and Eve, Noah's Ark, Cain and Abel, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Josep - Andrew Jukes

\n \nAndrew Jukes presents a detailed analysis of the Book of Genesis, describing the characters and events of the first book of the Bible, and discussing the significance of each passage.\n \nA Bible study distinctive and superb for its analytical depth, The Types of Genesis explores the Book of Genesis in a way which reveals the depth of its words. It is not simply a narration of events following the Creation and a history of early humankind, but an explanation of human nature, the power of the human spirit, and God's relationship with all beings.\n \nJukes structures his analysis through focusing upon the deeds of individual figures described in Genesis - Adam, the first man created. Cain, who murdered his brother Abel and was condemned to be a wanderer. Noah, who foresaw the Great Flood and constructed his Ark for him and the world's animals to survive the deluge. Abraham, a settler who was granted the lands of Canaan by God. Isaac, son of Abraham, who was to be sacrificed by his father but was saved at the last moment. Jacob, patriarch of the Israelites. Finally there is Joseph; sold into slavery but becoming the vizier of the Egyptian Pharaoh.\n
