Descriere Don't Panic It's Only the Nurse! - Vera Hemsley

\n \nAt the age of four, Vera Hemsley was asked to draw a picture of what she wanted to be when she grew up. Her match-stick image of a woman with a red cross on her cap and apron was clear for everyone to see. \n This delightful memoir follows Vera's journey into nursing, recounting some of her most memorable anecdotes along the way. From sneaking out of the Nurse's Home during training, to the pranks played by hospital staff, and the colourful characters on a district nurse's round - Vera tells it all! \n Sometimes touching, yet humorous throughout, Don't Panic, It's Only The Nurse gives a personal insight into a unique career. There is something to make every reader smile along the way.\n
