Time to Come Clean: Rescuing Jesus from Christianity - Tom Hall

Descriere Time to Come Clean: Rescuing Jesus from Christianity - Tom Hall

\n \nThe central argument of Time to Come Clean: Rescuing Jesus from Christianity is twofold. First: That by conflating Jesus and Christ, depicting him as a divine being, making him the founder of a new salvation cult, and generally promoting a supernaturalist view of reality, Christianity has come to be more an anachronistic belief system than the life of ethical practice its half-forgotten founder advocated. Second: To reverse its steady diminution of active members and social influence, those of both the pulpit and the pew need to refocus on this earthly life and seek to make the Master's message meaningful for people of the twenty-first century.\n
