Descriere Sons of Ashgard: Ill Met in Elmgard - Chad Corrie

\nWith bloody hands and sorrowful heart \nI set my sails and soon depart. \nFor a brighter day my soul does long. \nA place to hope where I can belong. \nErick Redfur seeks a new life. Exiled from his homeland he craves a fresh start, but has yet to find it. Hopeful of a better fate in Elmgard he soon finds himself embroiled in a series of troubling events that quickly escalate into a near kingdom-wide war. \n \nYet even as he attempts a remedy through fast thinking and the aid of some new companions, he risks jeopardizing his chance for a more peaceful future. But in so doing he'll find his redemption along with new hope for the days ahead. \n \nFull of action, adventure and some comedy and heart, the Sons of Ashgard saga follows a group of adventurous squirrels across a Norse-flavored landscape finding commonality in a bond birthed through mutual struggle and discovery. Each story is stand-alone but also able to tie into a larger narrative woven between tales. \n \nAs a busy comics professional, I spend far too little time reading comics vs making them. Sitting down with Sons of Ashgard was a welcomed venture back into the pleasure of admiring and reading comics. Looking forward to more. --Doug Mahnke (Swamp Thing: Green Hell) \n \nA beautifully drawn anthropomorphic Viking adventure, epic in scale and full of heart... This book feels like a classic in the making.--Max Dunbar (Dungeons & Dragons, Batman Beyond: Neo Year) \n \nAn exciting and well-drawn epic, like Braveheart married Usagi Yojimbo but with squirrels. I didn't know I needed that in my life until now.--Ethan Nicole (Axe Cop, Brave Ollie Possum, and Bears Want To Kill You) \n \nAn exciting and stylishly illustrated tale about making peace with the past and looking forward to new horizons. Sons of Ashgard feels like the beginning of something epic. Do not squirrel this nut away until winter.--Patrick Gleason (Amazing Spider-Man, Superman: Rebirth, Robin: Son of Batman)\n
