DOS Rios Memories - Judy Buffington Sammons

Descriere DOS Rios Memories - Judy Buffington Sammons

\nIn 1872 a young Alonzo Hartman - handsome, square-jawed and rugged, but of a kindly nature and smart - came across a gentle crossing of the Continental Divide, Cochetopa Pass, and rode into history. Hartman was a pioneer cattleman and one of the very first settlers on Colorado's Western Slope. From rough cowhand and friend to the Ute Indians to prominent cattleman and a founding father of the town of Gunnison, Hartman's story is one of courage, determination and intelligence. Priceless historic photos, many never seen before, add to the fascination of this biography.
