Descriere The Axioms of Religion: A New Interpretation of the Baptist Faith - Baptism's History as a Christian Church in America, and its Denominational - Edgar Young Mullins

\nEdgar Mullins explains the Baptist faith and the history of the church in North America, and reviews the doctrines, practices and principles of Baptism as a modern denomination.\n \nPublished in the early 20th century, this book sets out the tenets of the Baptist church - the rights and privileges afforded to believers, and how the church seeks to be in accordance with the laws of the United States. Of particular concern is the separation of church and state, which is provided for in the U.S. Constitution - determined to be a modern, respectful establishment, the Baptist church explicitly states its respect for the laws of the American forefathers.\n \nIndeed, the aim of the Baptist movement is to contribute and better the lives of Americans, and by extension people living all around the world. Social harmony, whereby neighbors and communities live in an atmosphere of mutual respect and regard, is something the denomination wishes to promote as a responsible, moral organization. Baptists believe that the love of God is universal, and every believer has a right to consult and receive counsel from the Lord, that they may carry out His will for the betterment of all.\n
