Descriere Jesus Christ (His Life, His Teaching, and His Work): Vol. 2 - Ferdinand Prat

In the two comprehensive volumes of his monumental work on the life of our Lord Jesus Christ Father Prat has left to the world an enduring masterpiece. \n\n \n \n\n In clearly intelligible phrase the author conveys to us the earthly career of our Lord and Saviour, building up from the sacred books and from all authentic sources the background of the scenes described and the deeds enacted. At the same time copious notes keep us in touch with every phase of scholarly research pertinent to our subject. Thus is conveyed a true, realistic, and genuinely historical account of our Saviour's appearance among men... In these two volumes the reader is constantly brought into intimate contact with the scenes and actors in the great drama, and above all with the central figure, Christ himself. \n\n \n \n\n We cannot lay aside these volumes without having acquired a more practical and more profound appreciation of Christ himself, Son of God and Son of Mary. To him be glory, praise, and benediction forever! \n\n -Joseph Husslein, S.J., Ph.D., General Editor, Science and Culture Series \n\n St. Louis University \n\n
