White Darkness: Poetic Tales of the Schizophrenic Experience - Susan Wojnar

Descriere White Darkness: Poetic Tales of the Schizophrenic Experience - Susan Wojnar

\nWhite Darkness: Poetic Tales of the Schizophrenic Experience, stands on its own as poetry that comes alive via Ms. Wojnar's fresh, vivid voice. It is also a resource that portrays the often feared and misunderstood diagnosis of schizophrenia. Anyone who has struggled with psychosis or loves someone who does or works with and cares for people who live with it, will value the insights, information and ray of hope in these Tales.\n \n \n\n \nDark and magnetic imagery. -Jim Villani, Poet, Publisher, Pig Iron Press\n \n \n\n \nAn open-hearted, gut wrenching journey of a life coping with mental illness. -Dot Haflinger Martin, Community Programmer at WRUW, and premier patron of the arts\n \n \n\n \nFrom the disorienting opening, the reader is plunged into a world that can't be trusted-voices, apparitions, and snapping social bonds. -Karen Schubert, author of The Compost Reader.\n \n \n\n \nIn the pines of this book are visions, shadows, angels, devils, demons, witches, insects, and humans turning into floor lamps. I recommend entering the strangely contorted pages of this book.-Juliet Cook, poet, artist, and author of Malformed Confett\n
