Malawi Women of God: A plan only God could devise - Misti Stevens

Descriere Malawi Women of God: A plan only God could devise - Misti Stevens

\nMalawi Women of God is a journal that documents the experiences of a missionary couple who answered the call of God to spread His word in African villages with limited access to the Bible. The journal reflects on the lessons learned from the Malawi women they met and the lessons they taught in return. The journal delves into the true meaning of hungering and thirsting for righteousness, among other valuable lessons.\n \n \n\n \nDuring their first trip to Malawi, the couple stayed in Kajuni Village, which served as a base for their mission to share the Word with other villages. It was there that they discovered that most women in the villages were illiterate, and none in Kajuni owned a Bible due to old customs that restricted their access to education. One morning, they were surprised to find women and children seated on a tree stump, which served as a bench. A woman named Emily approached them, pointing to the Bible she had been given the previous night while gesturing toward herself. The couple realized that she wanted to learn to read the Bible, but many women were chastising her for this desire. Emily stood firm and declared, Before I die, I will read the words of My God for myself.\n \n \n\n \nThis book chronicles the journey of Emily and many others like her, as they learn to read and understand God's words.\n
