Speak - Brittainy Spencer

Descriere Speak - Brittainy Spencer

\nSpeak is a deeply moving story that illustrates the growing pains of life through the eyes of a young girl, from childhood to adolescence and into adulthood. Brittainy's life changed drastically when she and her sister, Jasmine, left their family home in Connecticut, sight unseen, and moved with their mother to Alabama. What should have been a new beginning turned out to be the start of hardships, confusion, rebellion, and silence. Speak is the story of a girl who once lost her voice and the woman she became who is still finding her way. Speak encourages each of us to tell our stories, and to use our voices to take back our power. When we leverage the power of our voices, we set the trail of our paths ablaze with courage and ferocity. Speak is a poignant reminder that the human voice is a most powerful weapon, that we must use at all times.\n
