Descriere Rooted: Deepening Your Relationship with Jesus - Brad Whitt

-ABOUT THE BOOK: What does it look like to be rooted deeply in Christ? Those who are rooted in Christ are equipped to withstand the storms of life-like the wise man that built his house on a rock and was not tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine (Eph.4:14). They will find nourishment in Christ and peace that surpasses understanding. Jesus said, These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full (John 15:10-11). God's will for every believer is that they abide in His will and have absolute confidence in their salvation. Jesus said, I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing (John 15:5). To love God and discern why He put us here is our mission: We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (Eph.2:10). With that confidence, we can be Rooted in our God-given purpose. That you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend. . .what is the width and length and depth and height-to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19). \n -ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Dr. Brad Whitt is the senior pastor of the historic Abilene Baptist Church in Augusta and president of Real Life Today, a preaching and teaching ministry.
