The Attributes Of God: Pathways To The Past - Arthur Washington Pink

Descriere The Attributes Of God: Pathways To The Past - Arthur Washington Pink

\nWho is this God? Attempting to describe God is like trying to paint a portrait of someone you've never seen. Each person, however, has an inward portrait of God that is painted, not with brush and paint, but with thoughts and words, on the canvas of their mind. These inward portraits of God help us develop an understanding of Who God is and how we can relate to Him. Each word or thought is like a dab of paint adding color to our portrait of God. History reveals, unfortunately, that some people have developed terribly distorted portraits of God. Paul wrote about these people, describing them as people who think up silly ideas of what God was like and what he wanted them to do and their foolish minds became dark and confused (Romans 1:21 LB). God was not and is not willing to allow the reality of Who He is or how He is to be experienced to be obscured by either nature, the heathen, the pagan or the fool. Through His revelation, He has made Himself known. Through God's revelation we understand that He has certain attributes or qualities that distinguish Him from His creation. This Classic book - The Attributes Of God -- introduces and orients the reader to critical biblical/theological thinking about God -- with a clarity that fosters biblical thought and facilitates Bible comprehension.
