Billy Bray, The King's Son - D. Curtis Hale

Descriere Billy Bray, The King's Son - D. Curtis Hale

THIS SCHMUL PUBLISHING CO. EDITION IS NOT A SCANNED FACSIMILE OF A USED BOOK. It has been carefully typeset and proofread for accuracy and for easier reading by today's readers. Consequently there are no odd characters or missing text. This book is the true story of a converted drunkard, a coal miner from Cornwall, England. It is the story of the happy life he lived after his conversion, of his inspiration by the Lord to win souls for Christ and build chapels for their fellowship and worship. It tells how he prayed for people that he wanted to see converted, and of the secrets God revealed to him of those who would be converted. He had a natural wit, both in his ministry and in his conversation, and was especially gifted in repartée- answering criticisms from others. Without doubt, this is one of the happiest Christians who ever lived. Anyone who saw him could recognize him as Billy Bray because of his happy countenance and his shouts of praise. Even when the doctor told him that he was going to die, Billy's instant response was to shout, Glory! Glory be to God! I shall soon be in Heaven! This book will inspire the reader to live a similarly joyful life, and to reach the same happy conclusion that Billy Bray reached.
