Marvel Masterworks: Spider-Woman Vol. 4 - Chris Claremont

Descriere Marvel Masterworks: Spider-Woman Vol. 4 - Chris Claremont

Industry legend Chris Claremont is best known for his epic sixteen-year run on Uncanny X-Men. Claremont's focus on the themes of prejudice and tolerance struck at the hearts of comics fans, and he built an unparalleled following during the next three decades. Under his pen, the X-Men franchise spawned a vast array of spin-offs, many of them written by Claremont himself. His other credits include Iron Fist, Ms. Marvel, Power Man and Spider-Woman. Claremont has returned to the X-Men universe in New Exiles, GeNext, X-Men Forever, Chaos War: X-Men and Nightcrawler. \nJournalist, editor, filmmaker and more, Ann Nocenti has a long history in comics, both as a writer and editor. As an editor at Marvel, she oversaw such titles as New Mutants and Uncanny X-Men. As a writer, she has worked for both Marvel (Longshot, Spectacular Spider-Man, Wolverine) and DC (Batman, Kid Eternity), but is probably best known for her groundbreaking run with John Romita Jr. on Daredevil. \n \nAl Milgrom, A.K.A. Editori-Al, is renowned as writer, editor, penciler and inker -- and held most of those positions on Spectacular Spider-Man. He also contributed to SSM's sibling Amazing Spider-Man. He penciled West Coast Avengers for four years and inked X-Factor for eight. His artwork has also appeared in Avengers, Captain America, Thor and most X-titles, including the classic Kitty Pryde and Wolverine. As editor, he oversaw Marvel's Epic imprint and the sixty-issue run of Marvel Fanfare, where his satirical self-portraits made his face as recognizable as any super hero's mask. At DC, he co-created Firestorm the Nuclear Man with Gerry Conway. \n \nArtist Michael Golden's realistic artwork on The 'Nam chronicled a platoon of Vietnam War soldiers in a series widely acclaimed by both readers and veterans of the military conflict. He contributes cover artwork to a variety of projects, including Batman and Superman.\n
