The Beekeeper - Myron Brown

Descriere The Beekeeper - Myron Brown

I'm glad I'm a beekeeper because the bees taught me so much. Being close to the soil, \n\n and putting his hands to work, can save a man. I'm not the same person I once was. Scarred, but better for it. \n\n \n \n\n \nWho was D. D. Palmer, and how did a teacher turned beekeeper find the inspiration to ignite a revolutionary idea that changed the face of health care? From humble beginnings, Palmer is remembered for founding the chiropractic profession, which is now practiced worldwide. But less is known about his story, from a childhood on the Canadian frontier to schoolmaster, horticulturist, and maverick doctor who gave birth to colleges of chiropractic in Iowa and other states from the Midwest to the West Coast. This masterful piece of historical fiction tells of a little-known passion of Palmer's-beekeeping-and how the allure of apiculture inspired one of science's most fascinating minds.\n
