Biblical Civics: A Twelve-Week Study on God and Government - R. Josiah Magnuson

Descriere Biblical Civics: A Twelve-Week Study on God and Government - R. Josiah Magnuson

Biblical Civics digs into God's revealed will for governments, nations, and rulers. Scripture is not silent on these matters. In fact, it is only because Jesus is Lord that freedom and justice are possible. \nThis book is perfect for your Sunday School, small group, Bible study, or personal devotions. Learn why God created the civil realm, what responsibility Christians have to engage within it, and how we can take a stand for Christ against the twin dangers of political supremacism and political abandonment. We are not given the task of solving every problem with government force, but neither are we offered the luxury of sitting back and hiding our light under a bushel. This twelve-week course will equip you to get involved in a healthy, Biblical way. \n \nBased on over three years of study, four-term South Carolina state representative R. Josiah Magnuson carefully examines the foundations of government in Scripture and challenges believers to overcome evil with good as salt and light in the public square.
