Remember When: A Boy's Tribute to His Lower-Middle-Class Family - Stephen Mckinley Simpson

Descriere Remember When: A Boy's Tribute to His Lower-Middle-Class Family - Stephen Mckinley Simpson

\nRemember When is for nostalgia seekers and young people curious about the good ole days. Take a ride on the back road of life to a less complicated time. A time before cell phones, social media, and the internet. When we communicated with friends and family through a long-distance land line or a letter in the mail. When cars had carburetors, TVs weighed a ton, and gathering around the family photo album produced hours of laughter and joy.\n \nRemembering when evokes an array of thoughts, emotions, and memories, the stories becoming more meaningful each time they're told. Some are legendary, some are unbelievable, some are sad, but all of them have a place in my heart and in my family's soul.\n \nI encourage you to put down your device (unless you're reading digitally) and pick up this book. Open it up and take a literary vacation back to a simpler time. The events in this book actually happened, and the historical facts are real. The sarcasm is heavy, and the handful of rants by the author are short and thoughtful. You may laugh, you might cry, and you most certainly will rehash some family memories of your own. Thoughts and emotions about loved ones and the past come and go, but the memories, especially the fond ones, always remain.\n
