The Making of a Coach - Golden Pat Ruel

Descriere The Making of a Coach - Golden Pat Ruel

\nDon't get captured, is retired NFL coach Golden Pat Ruel's life motto. Don't get captured by a toxic culture, things you can't control, or even by your own negative attitude.\n \n\n \nThe conviction served him well during his decades-long football career, which culminated in the Seattle Seahawks' landslide victory in the 48th Super Bowl. But there were many other important lessons Ruel learned along the way from family members, fellow coaches, and players who propelled him to success. Some taught him what to do, while others taught him what not to do.\n \n\n \nIn his memoir, Pat Ruel recounts his journey from playing backyard football with the neighborhood kids to running with the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, and Seattle Seahawks. Through honest reflection, he shares all about the obstacles he overcame and the sacrifices he had to make to see his greatest passion come to fruition.\n \n\n \nFootball isn't just about the glory, the electric atmosphere, and the rush of adrenaline you can't find anywhere else but in team sports. It's about the camaraderie-encouraging one another through thick and thin, and pushing forward when you don't think you can take another step.\n \n\n \n\n
