If One Falls Down: On Congress, the Federal Government, and Your Duty - Matthew J. Russell

Descriere If One Falls Down: On Congress, the Federal Government, and Your Duty - Matthew J. Russell

Just another book about Congress? No. In these pages, the reader will see how Congress actually works from someone who worked there 11 years, the problems that plague it, and learn real solutions to restore the republic where the people are in control. Russell reveals the root cause which is controlling Congress and taking your freedoms is an Executive Branch whose agencies have become so powerful, they now control and run the country-immune from congressional oversight. This growing imbalance has the power to destroy the country. Americans sense something is very wrong with the government. Amidst a political awakening, more people are coming to the realization we are at a turning point. Our republic only works if we-the people-maintain it from year to year and generation to generation; we must be vigilant. The republic cannot be placed on autopilot as it has been, it cannot be neglected, or shunted to the side and ignored and then expected to function. If this attitude continues, the republic will cease to exist. The first job of an American citizen is to oversee the federal government. Action must be taken by you before it's too late.
