The Simple Changes - Stuart P. Radowitz

Descriere The Simple Changes - Stuart P. Radowitz

The Simple Changes by Stuart P. Radowitz is a collection of poems that speaks so very beautifully of the depth of our connections to each other, as well as to other life forms in our world. The presence of Nature and the passage of time are dominant themes in these poems and always, the poet brings his formidable talents to their expression. Whether our focus is on the dream world or the world within the window of our waking lives, Radowitz offers us opportunities to glimpse both what lies within our understanding and that which lies beyond knowledge. The journey rewards its traveler with views only a uniquely talented poet can offer. \n\n \n \n\n \n-Linda Opyr, Nassau County Poet Laureate 2011-13\n \nWhere the Eye Wants Coast is Linda's eighth and latest collection of poetry\n \n \n\n \n \n\n Stuart P. Radowitz is the wise elder we all yearn to walk beside - a gentle companion who has learned to 'see through closed eyes' and hear 'countless souls in the gusts.' But this is also one with an earthy humor, who understands that 'the beginning of the end starts with lunch.' The poems in The Simple Changes put us on intimate terms with the ever-changing, yet profoundly abiding, natural world. There is a trustable humility in the voice that sings here, one that admits to catching a glimpse of the eternal flame, 'but only through the corner of my eye.' \n\n \n \n\n \n-Prartho Sereno, Poet Laureate Emerita of Marin County, CA \n \nAuthor of five poetry collections, most recently, Starlight in the Temple\n \n \n\n \n \n\n As a visual artist, I use pictures to communicate. Stuart P. Radowitz uses words to create pictures. Pictures that inspire us to explore our relationships to the natural world, to our inner selves, and to each other. In The Simple Changes, this gifted poet gives voice to universal truths and to the collective human experience, from the everyday to the extraordinary, examining love and loss, home and heart, life and death, the passing of time and passing on. I promise after reading this collection, you will never look at a houseplant, a hawk, or the interstate in the same way ever again. \n\n \n \n\n \n-Rick Chiorando, \n \n Chief Executive & Creative Officer, Austin Williams\n
