\nHigh atop the storyteller's tower, look down upon those cast aside. The forgotten archetypes, the tools of the ever changing trade. Look down upon the past and see what has been lost to bring us to where we are today. \n \n\n \nThe second book from Nicole Zamlout, author of the popular All These Little Stars, creates an emersive mixed-media experience examining the very nature of the stories we choose to tell. \n \n \nThe Storyteller sits in her tower, looking down on her kingdom of stories: two young lovers struggling to be together, three soldiers working together, a hero in blue with the ability to fly, a girl in red hiding in the woods, and an imp who believes in bargains. They struggle within the Storyteller's hold, but hope lies in the Fans, a group of storytellers who believe in the freedom to make their own stories. What follows is a battle for the ages as everyone tries to claim their place in the Story Scrapyard. \n \n\n \nThe next installment in Read Furiously's bestselling pocket-sized One 'n Done series, Tales from the Scrapyard creates an immersive mixed-media experience examining the very nature of the stories we choose to tell. A mix of prose, poetry, folklore and mythology, this little book reminds us to take control of our own stories - wherever it may lead. \n
