Descriere The Top 10 Mistakes I Made My First Year as a Copywriter - Ann M. Schreiber

\nJumping into the world of copywriting was much like walking a tightrope-I knew how to do the writing and manage the clients but I was completely unprepared for all the businessy things that needed to be done.\n \n \n \nIn The Top 10 Mistakes I Made My First Year as a Copywriter, I share those smack-your-forehead-in-disbelief blunders, from the tempting trap of investing in a website on the cheap to the regretful moment I realized I had no legal contract in place for my clients-and no protection for my billable revenue. Ouch! \n \n\n \nThis book is an open and honest reflection on the learning curves that tripped me up, including my overreliance on the quite volatile topic of artificial intelligence and my procrastination in developing a rate card and consistent pricing. Writers-charge what you are worth!\n \n\n \nBut it's not all bad-aspiring copywriters and content writers will nod in knowledge but will have the advantage of avoiding those same errors for themselves.\n \nFrom inconsistent blogging, being clueless about business liability insurance, and the terror of realizing that social media isn't just a passing fad and there simply isn't enough time in a day to do it all, I cover it all. Whether you're a fellow copywriter or just someone who enjoys a good laugh at someone else's expense, this book is packed with the wisdom I wish I'd had before I took the plunge for myself. \n \n\n \nAnd trust me, you'll leave with a grin and some practical advice-minus the hard knocks.\n \n\n
