Malibu Express: The Novelization - Brad Carter

Descriere Malibu Express: The Novelization - Brad Carter

\nBrad Carter, renowned for transforming cult cinema into expansive literary experiences, brings his signature style to the novelization of Andy Sidaris's 1985 action-comedy, Malibu Express. Known for his work on novelizations of Cruel Jaws, Virus: Hell of the Living Dead and Rats: Night of Terror, Carter approaches Malibu Express with the same fervor, expanding its universe while preserving its campy charm.\n \n\n \nThe narrative follows Cody Abilene, a private investigator with a penchant for fast cars and faster women. Tasked with a seemingly straightforward surveillance job, Cody finds himself entangled in a web of espionage, seduction, and high-octane chases. From desert highways to opulent Beverly Hills estates, the story unfolds with a blend of bullet-riddled action and risqué escapades.\n \n\n \nCarter delves deeper into the film's characters, providing them with richer backstories and motivations. His prose captures the essence of 1980s pulp fiction, infusing the tale with wit, satire, and a touch of absurdity. As with his previous works, Carter doesn't merely retell the story; he reimagines it, offering readers a fresh perspective on a cult classic.\n \n\n \nFor fans of the original film and newcomers alike, Malibu Express promises a rollicking ride through a world where danger and desire collide at every turn.\n
