Something To Stare At - Josh Blue

Descriere Something To Stare At - Josh Blue

\nHey, you! Yeah, you looking this book over! It's me, comedian Josh Blue. You know me from winning Last Comic Standing, or getting third place on America's Got Talent, or maybe you just saw me wobbling through the airport. If you don't know me at all, I'm the comic who puts the cerebral in cerebral palsy.\n \nSomething To Stare At is my first book, and it's all about my life: From my harrowing birth and subsequent emergency flight out of Africa, to sharing a zoo cage with a silverback gorilla, to traveling the world as a Paralympian on the U.S. soccer team, my journey has been as unpredictable as my right arm. \n \nWe'll also saunter through my comedy career, from its humble start to performing on the world's biggest stand-up stage, as well as my lifelong challenge of overcoming others' preconceived ideas of disabled people-for those of you who need your inspiration porn. \n \nYou may think you know me, but after reading Something To Stare At you're probably going to know more than you want to. And if you're still reading this far, just buy the damn book already! \n \nJosh always shovels his walk in a timely fashion. -Neighbor to the left\n \nHe doesn't floss properly, but still has great teeth. -Josh's dentist\n \nWow, only took him twenty years to finish this. -College roommate\n \nPretty good book for a guy who can't read. -Local librarian\n
