Descriere Follow Your Art: Uncover and Unleash Your Creative Voice - Katie Johnson

\nKatie Johnson and Ilana Griffo are artists, authors, and the creative duo behind Goodtype--a vibrant community of over one million designers who love typography. \n \n Through Goodtype, they provide education, resources, and inspiration to help other artists thrive doing what they love. They also create collaborative artwork through Goodtype Studio, with past clients including Target, Trader Joe's, Amazon Music, Adobe, Penguin Random House, and more. \n \nIlana Griffo lives in Rochester, New York, with her bike-racing husband, Gregg, and their two kids. She thrives on bringing order to chaos--a superpower that shows up just as much in her management of Goodtype's inbox as it does in her geometric, pattern-filled illustration work. Her first book, Mind Your Business, is an Amazon bestseller and has been featured in Forbes, Buzzfeed, and more. She's also a big fan of dogs and chocolate, though not at the same time. \n \nKatie Johnson is a hand-lettering artist based in Austin, Texas, where she lives with her musically gifted husband, two cats, and a very beloved Aussiedoodle. Her love of ornament, filigree, and meticulous detail makes her the unofficial manager of minutiae at Goodtype. Though she spent her early years roller skating competitively and performing in every musical she could, these days you're more likely to find her writing songs, bingeing reality TV, or getting lost in an endless queue of fantasy and sci-fi audiobooks. \n
