Descriere Model asamblabil Tamiya Militari: Nave - Portavion american Hornet CV-8 - Water Line Series

The model of the American aircraft carrier Hornet CV-8 by Tamiya is a detailed replica of the legendary historic ship from World War II. This plastic model recreates the eighth aircraft carrier of the USA and the third of the Yorktown class, commissioned in 1941. The ship is remembered for its participation in the first air raid on Japan in April 1942, when it carried the B-25 Mitchell bombers. In its original form, the vessel was powered by a turbine engine with 120,000 hp, reaching speeds up to 34 knots. The Tamiya model precisely reproduces the details of the deck, the bridge, and the elevator compartments of this iconic aircraft carrier. The model is delivered unassembled and requires assembly and painting. Glue and paints are not included in the kit and must be purchased separately. It is recommended to use specialized glue and paints for plastic models. Decals are applied after painting is completed. Features: Scale: 1:700; Length of the finished model: 35 cm; Includes assembly instructions and decals; Material: plastic; Era: World War II (1939-1945).
